In a symbol of our common priesthood, servers are given the responsibility for carrying the cross and candles in procession and assisting the presider at liturgy. The actions of these individuals highlight the ceremony and ritual that are so much a part of the liturgy that we celebrate. We welcome and encourage our youth to serve as altar servers. Boys and girls from the third grade on up who attend Mass regularly are eligible for this service to the Church. Periodic classes are scheduled for training and announced in the bulletin.

The women and men who serve as ushers and greeters are much more than collection takers and distributors of bulletins; they are representatives of a caring community. They welcome visitors, assist new members, and help the disabled experience an accessible environment.  This ministry is open to all members and families of our community.
